learning objectives
- Design or adapt relevant learning experiences that incorporate digital tools and resources to promote student learning and creativity.
- Develop technology-enriched learning environments that enable all students to pursue their individual curiosities and become active participants in setting their own educational goals, managing their own learning, and assessing their own progress.
- Customize and personalize learning activities to address students’ diverse learning styles, working strategies, and abilities using digital tools and resources.
- Provide students with multiple and varied formative and summative assessments aligned with content and technology standards and use resulting data to inform learning and teaching.
Reflection
The three projects below represent the learnings of the above standard. The first artifact is of a concept map. A concept map is a way to present the way content lays out in the student's mind. The concept map represents the learnings of assistive and adaptive technologies, which is important for the successful usage of technology for all students including those with learning and physical disabilities. The second artifact, displays the knowledge of terms and concepts from a chapter reading, but the information is presented in a cartoon I created. The project allowed for the creativeness in students to be exhibited while creating an engaging way to reflect and display knowledge of chapter understanding. The third project shown on this page is created with the program piktochart. The program allows for users to create a slideshow like presentation with graphics and abilities such as a blog page but in photograph form. This is a great tool fro presentations. The project allowed for the summative assessment of the different chapter concepts to be created and displayed in a way the student understood and envisioned in his or her mind. This piktochart represents knowledge of digital audio. All projects allowed for each student with different learning styles to be successful in learning.

Future learning
I enjoyed the creative components to the cartoon and piktochart projects and feel these would incorporate well into any classroom setting, but especially capture the engagement of a primary school climate. I am very excited to have learned of concept maps to display thoughts and learnings of concepts. I plan to use this tool for future essays and research as well as for my lesson plans. I find the tool a successful way to layout the thoughts in my mind and components to lesson plans for different units. I also like the ability to organize resources, ideas, and paragraph topics for research papers.
